The Head of Finance and Administration is accountable for delivering financial reporting through internal operational effectiveness of the accounting and internal controls functions, which are aligned and comply with local legal and tax requirements, as well as, the general accepted accounting standards.

He/she is also accountable for closing of the books for the assigned Chart of Accounts, including all general accounting responsibilities which are under the scope of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable and will generally include supervision of posting of journal entries, bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliation, month-end closing, financial statements analysis and audit support.

On an on-going basis, he/she is also expected to monitor Key Performance Indicators and address the accounting-related concerns of internal Business Partners.


Who is the Koltiva Head of Finance and Administration?

Required Knowledge and Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Degree in Accountancy or Finance
  • Preferably with 4-5 years&ampampamprsquo experience specializing in General Accounting&ampampampnbsp&ampampampnbsp
  • Ability to read, interpret and analyze Financial statements
  • Attention to details, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge in ERP analysis for Microsoft Excel
  • Good skills and competence of Excel, Word and Outlook are required

  • Ability to manage multiples priorities, good time management and should be highly organized
  • Experience towards achieving continuous work process improvement
  • Fluent English in writing and speaking and local language preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills needed

What are the key responsibilities of the Head of Finance and Administration?

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

Accounting and Reporting

  • Prepare, supervise, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
  • Review accounting entries/schedules/reports prepared by the Finance Analyst
  • Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition, including driving collection efficiently
  • Coordinate, supervise analyze account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare financial planning and budgets as per Management Guidelines that includes compiling, consolidating, and analyzing financial data and recommending plans
  • Manage the General Ledger and validate the Trial Balance
  • Provide timely and accurate financial information and a basic analysis of that information to the management

Controlling and Improvement

  • Develop and document business processes and accounting that ensure adequacy of internal controls, safekeeping of assets, efficient operations and compliance with accounting rules, as appropriate
  • Communicate recommendations for accounting/general administrative processes improvements
  • Work cooperatively and jointly with internal/external customers to provide quality service and to streamline workflows
  • Work in special projects, when necessary

Compliance and Tax

  • Ensure compliances to local regulatory requirements, and government reporting requirements
  • Compute taxes owed and prepare Corporate tax returns (VAT, withholding, and other taxes: PPH25, PPH21, PPH23, PPH4.2), ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements

Payroll and Administration

  • Develop &ampampampamp maintain supportive working relationships with associates and support team leaders
  • Supervising the payroll information by designing systems directing the collection, calculation, and entering of data
  • Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages
  • Balances the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies
  • Complies with local legal requirements by enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential
