Who is the Koltiva Internship?
Koltiva’s KoltiYouth Internship Program is a regular program implemented by KoltiSkills units and last
between 3-6 months. It repeats on a regular basis. The goal of the program is to identify young talents
that can become future Junior Climate/ Environment Specialist at Koltiva. Applicants can apply on a rolling
bases and interns will be selected depending on the project needs.
The suggested name for the position is Intern Project Officer or Intern Climate and Environment.
Depending on the experience and skills the intern would be assigned to the specific position and project.
The line manager of the intern will be the Climate and Environment Section Lead.
What are the key responsibilities of the Internship?
Responsibilities
- Provide analysis of Agronomy & greenhouse gas (GHG) data, evaluate data quality, collect data, and review the processes.
- Develop content for climate management & GHG accounting features.
- Research and knowledge sharing on specific requirements for various certification standards, carbon, regenerative Agriculture Practice, and other sustainability topics.
- Support the Climate and Environment in the day-to-day management of project activities, including general research and development of climate solution features.
- Analyze climate and environment data and evaluate data quality and data collection and review processes.
What are the requirement of the Position?
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Forestry, Plant Protection, Soil Science, Agribusiness,
- Aquaculture, Sustainable Development, Geographic, Geodesy, Geomatics or related field.
- First internship experience in related field preferred
- Committed to participate in an Intern Program for at least 3 months, preferably 6 months.
- Willingness to get the hands-dirty and communicate with farmers (field stay required depending on the intern’s assignment and internship duration)
- Have a good Understanding the carbon footprint of products and services from raw material extraction to final delivery.
- Willingness to be placed in all areas of Indonesia.
- Good with numbers and data, knowledge of basic data analytic preferred.
- Proficiency in English and Indonesian language (both written and spoken).
