Who is the Koltiva Data Engineer?
At Koltiva we rely on powerfully insightful data to inform our systems and solutions—and we’re seeking an experienced pipeline-centric data engineer to put it to use. You’ll wear many hats in this role, but much of your focus will be building out our ETL processes, writing superb SQL and managing Data Infrastructure. We’re looking for someone willing to jump right in to help the company get the most out of our data.?
What are the key responsibilities of the Data Engineer?
- Make optimal data pipeline architecture.
- Perform internal process improvements in data engineering field: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.

- Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.
- Create data tools for data team to perform analytics.
What are the requirement of the Position?
- Bachelor’s degree in Majoring Information Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Java Software Engineer, Data Engineer or similar role.
- Minimum 3 or more years of experience with Python, SQL, and data visualization/exploration tools.
- Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem.
- Experience building or maintaining ETL processes.
- Have an understanding or experience of Kafka or other Messaging technology is a plus.
- Communication skills, especially explaining technical concepts to non-technical business leaders.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask. Flexibility and adaptability in work approach.
- Ability to perform effective interaction with a broad range of people and roles. ?
